Faba TONIQ® significantly increases the retention of curls after a single application and has a 48 hour curl-hold effect (see Fig 2). It also delivers additional benefits such as conditioning and frizz control.

Faba TONIQ® contains an all-natural blend of polysaccharides and oligosaccharides that work to coat the hair. After drying, it delivers long-lasting curl retention, even in the most humid climates.

Consumer feedback was collected to determine Faba TONIQ®’s usability in multiple hair textures and curl types. 5% Faba TONIQ® was sprayed onto natural & heat-styled curls, and left for 48 hours.
* Benzyl Alcohol was selected as it allows for low inclusion levels and is globally compliant, broad-spectrum, fast-drying, and compatible with most ingredients and pH’s. With most haircare formulations being fragranced, we felt it would be widely acceptable. However, if you have a project where Benzyl Alcohol isn’t accepted, we can offer alternative options.
