REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE YOUR PACKAGING

Ordered something from the our Shop? Please help us to give our packaging materials another life! If you're thinking of making a purchase, remember that there are ways to reduce waste entirely by ordering exactly what you need.

 

REDUCE

Please help us to reduce waste by ensuring that you select a pack size that's right for you. We offer pack sizes as small as 30g for this very reason; so you don't have to worry about ordering more than you need! However, if you'd like to order more than 1kg, please contact us at orders@upcycledbeauty.com.

REUSE

If you're able to reuse or upcycle your packaging, we encourage you to keep hold of it! You might be able to reuse your tubs/bottles for new sample formulas you're working on, or even for storing small items or other ingredients in the lab. If you are going to reuse the packaging, simply:

• Remove the label and dispose within your domestic recycling

• Rinse the bottle/container with water

• Sterilise

RECYCLE

If you cannot find a use for your packaging, you can recycle it. Here's how:

Aluminium bottles & containers (NECTA® products)

Remove labels from your aluminium bottle. Both the labels and bottle components are 100% recyclable and can be disposed of in your domestic recycling. Please check your local facilities to see if you need to rinse your aluminium bottle before disposing.

HDPE bottles & containers (CRUSH™ products)

Remove labels from your CRUSH™ packaging. Both the labels and containers are 100% recyclable and can be disposed of in your domestic recycling. Please check your local facilities to see if you need to rinse your containers before disposing.

Postage packaging

All of our postal boxes and upcycled packaging filler is recyclable. The leaflets within our postal boxes are printed onto recycled paper made from repurposed coffee cups that have been diverted from landfill. Simply dispose of these within your domestic recycling.
